Coinbase launched NFT in beta

Lately last year, Coinbase announced that they would launch NFT and named it Coinbase NFT.

Today, Coinbase NFT is live in beta. A Web3 social marketplace for NFTs.

Coinbase has been building things out in the open and asking the NFT community for feedback.

They gave collectors and creators sneak peeks of the progress and got great feedback.

This made them realize that people don’t just want better ways to buy and sell NFTs; they also want better ways to find them, better ways to find the right communities, and better places where they can feel connected to each other.

But because of this, they are making a product that is more than just a transaction.

Besides that, they want to give people the tools they need to create, collect, and connect.

Coinbase NFT Beta is Live

By putting out the Coinbase NFT beta, Coinbase is taking the first step on this path.

Starting today, anyone can go to nft.coinbase.com to check out the first version of Coinbase NFT and look at the huge number of NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain.

Beta testers will be able to set up a Coinbase NFT profile to buy and sell NFTs using any self-custody wallet, whether it’s Coinbase Wallet or something else.

For a limited time, you won’t have to pay any fees to use Coinbase.

They will eventually add fees, which will be in line with Web3 industry standards, and we’ll let you know before anything changes.

They will start with a small group of beta testers who will be chosen based on where they are on the coinbase waitlist.

They’ll start with the first person on the list and let more people in as time goes on.

Stay tuned as we slowly make it possible for everyone to create profiles, buy, and sell on Coinbase NFT.

Here are some other things you can find in the product:

1. Create your profile and connect

You can sign in with your profile data which is a good representation of you by adding NFTs that tell your story.

2. Build a community and get people involved.

The rise of NFT communities has shown us that people talk online about a lot more than just transactions.

They are making a place where people can do more than just buy and sell.

Coinbase wants Coinbase NFT to be a place where creators and collectors can build their communities and interact with each other.
